Dr Felicity Heathcote-Márcz is an Alumni of the PhD research programme at Alliance Manchester Business School (University of Manchester), and is currently working in the private sector as a Transport Research Consultant.
Felicity uses ethnography to explore the immersive aspects of life in organisations and for transport users. She is particularly interested in ‘Cyborgs’ – socio-technological networks of relation and cultures – post-colonial themes and future mobilities. She completed an ethnography at the strategic Technology Centre for a large global bank for her PhD thesis. She has also worked ethnographically with a UK arts and technology organisation and for a UK government agency responsible for highways.
Felicity was part of the Manchester Ethnography Network before this was disbanded, and is now part of the virtual global community of researchers who utilise ethnographic methods and critical theory to provide unique insights to organisations and within academia.
